I've been experimenting with a new tool, ActionScriptPainter. It's similar to ArtRage in that it attempts to approximate natural media, but 1) it's online, and 2) it automates the process of creating a "painting" from a photograph. 20/20 did a show recently on the subject of happiness, including a segment on the Blue Zones project which ranks countries by their relative happiness. I don't know what criteria they use to judge such a thing, but apparently Denmark's the happiest country in the world, Singapore's the happiest country in Asia, and Italy's the unhappiest country ( Read more... )
